About Me
I have faced many challenges and setbacks in my life. I know what it’s like to feel alone, unsure, and afraid of being judged. Those experiences sparked my passion for becoming a therapist. I wanted to be the kind of person I needed back then—someone who listens deeply, offers genuine support, and creates a safe, welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are.
Being a mum to three incredible grown-up children—including twins—has been one of my greatest gifts. They’ve taught me about unconditional love, acceptance, and the importance of staying true to yourself and chasing your dreams! I continue to be inspired which is why I’ve recently started exploring artistic expression, using acrylic paint, this not only brings me joy and is a form of meditation it also helps me challenge the narrative that I am not creative (as told by a primary school teacher). Producing art helps me process and share different ways to express myself.
I am a hopeless dog lover and am hoping to welcome a puppy into my life this year, I know it’ll bring a whole new level of chaos along with fun and love into my home. When I’m not working or covered in paint, you’ll probably find me walking in nature. There’s something so restorative about being outdoors, especially during those in between seasons when everything is shifting and transforming—it’s a beautiful reminder of how change, while sometimes uncomfortable, is a natural and necessary part of life.
In my therapy practice, I bring all of these experiences with me. I’ve been described as affirming, forward-thinking, and relational in my approach. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels warm, safe, and open—a space where you can explore, heal, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. I’m here to listen, offer insights, and walk alongside you on your journey, with a blend of sensitivity, intuition, and a bit of light heartedness when it fits.
If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, I’d love to connect. Whether you’re navigating specific challenges or simply want to explore life’s complexities, I’m here to help.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I need counselling/psychotherapy?
Counselling sessions can help you to gain clarity on any issues, change old patterns, untangle complex personal issues, or embark on a journey of self-development. You may seek counselling as a result of a crisis, or you may be encouraged to seek counselling by family members, friends or colleagues.
What happens in a session?
I will provide a safe environment in which to explore your issues. You are free to discuss whatever you wish, from everyday events, dilemmas, feelings, and thoughts, to any regrets, aspirations, memories and dreams.
Who comes to counselling?
There is no barrier as to who can access counselling. I welcome you regardless of your culture, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
Are you the right person to help me?
By having an initial consultation, you will hopefully be able to answer this question. The relationship between counsellor and client is central to successful therapy so it is important that you feel comfortable with me so we can build a trusting therapeutic relationship.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions last for 60 minutes. It is best for us to have a regular slot booked in each week for the duration of your sessions, but I appreciate that busy lives mean that this isn’t always possible. I will endeavour to be as flexible as I can. Evening and daytime appointments are available.
Will my sessions be confidential?
Yes, I adhere to the BACP code of ethics. I will not share information about you, other than in very exceptional circumstances such as if I was concerned about yours or someone else’s safety.
I comply with data protection legislation and maintain the security of all client information.
Note that registered therapists are obliged to have a supervisor overseeing their work, to ensure they are maintaining a high level of assistance to their clients. While I might discuss the generalities of your case with my supervisor, I will not divulge your identity, and my supervisor is also under oath to protect the privacy of any information that is shared.
How much does it cost?
Each session costs £85, payable in advance of the session.
How many sessions will I need?
Some people only need a few sessions, especially if they have a particular problem that they want to focus on. Others need something more long term. As with the counselling itself, the number and timing of your sessions will be tailored to suit your needs.
What happens if I cannot attend?
I understand that there might be situations where you won’t be able to attend the session. Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed or cancelled sessions will need to be paid in full if notice is received with less than two working days’ notice.

Words from my clients…
’ve tried numerous therapies, including CBT and counselling, but I never found someone I truly connected with as a long-term self-care resource-until now. Working with Kiran has been a transformative experience. She provided such a safe and supportive space for me to explore my struggles with grief, family dynamics, anxiety, and self-worth.
I knew our sessions were successful because they were hard work-digging deep into what makes me me, something I’ve been searching for answers to for a long time. Even though the sessions could be emotionally challenging, I always looked forward to them. Having that dedicated time to help me navigate such an overwhelming period in my life was incredibly reassuring.
Kiran made me feel truly seen and heard, which I’ve come to realize is so important to me.
She helped me begin setting boundaries and be kinder to my younger self-lessons I will carry forward. I’m deeply grateful for our work together.
I started therapy with Kiran exactly 1 year ago. Following a rough break up I was struggling to feel myself in any element of my life and no matter what book I read, or new processes I tried to implement, I couldn’t seem to turn things around. I was increasingly short fused and emotional which was so unlike the real me. I was sceptical about therapy, but I knew I had to keep trying to find ways to get back to myself, as I run my own business and even my clients, as well as friends and family, were starting to ask if I was ok.
Now I can say honestly that my sessions with Kiran have been one of, if not the best, investments I have ever made. I had no idea 12 months ago how much more I could learn about myself; why I think and feel the way I do, why I developed a ‘people pleasing’ mentality without even realising it, why I was constantly repeating negative patterns in my relationships and had developed low self-esteem. Kiran helped me understand and accept who I really am, address negative thoughts or patterns of behaviour, set, and stick to healthy boundaries and much more. I am now as happy, calm, confident and excited about the future again, as I can ever remember.
“Thank you for helping me to find my confidence, courage and to give me the tools to continue empowering myself.”
“After a very difficult separation from a 23 relationship, I turned to counselling to help make sense of the pain I was going through.
I had tried two counsellors prior to meeting Kiran. They both practiced a very passive style of listening. I felt I needed a more active input, one which would stimulate and tease out an understanding of what had happened to me. Kiran employs a more inquisitive, supportive style that really suits my needs. Our online sessions are enjoyable and stimulating. Counselling at a distance plays an important role for me too in that I feel I am able to be more open.”
“Kiran is a very attentive listener and always interacts with me positively. She comments on what I have said and how I express myself, reflecting my mindset back to me in a way that makes me understand how I think of myself and my place both within my family and outside of it. She has helped me enormously.”
